I've been driving for him in one of his trucks for about 16 months. Half that with Landstar, before he brought his trucks over to West, due to the higher pecentage pay. I may be purchasing a truck in a few weeks to lease on with West. It's my understanding that drivers have access to multiple load boards, including Landstar, DAT, CH Robinson, etc.
Orientation at West was fantastic. I arrived at 9:00am at the West Terminal. At that time I was warmly greeted by Cheryl and we started doing the paperwork. The whole atmosphere was very laid back and everyone was very friendly. I then went and took the road test which I passed.
