Traditionally Perry Middle School has a rich history in academic performance by consistently making Adequate Yearly Progress, being named a Title I Distinguished School six concurrent years, and being named a Georgia School of Excellence.
The mission of Perry Middle School’s PBIS team is to support a safe and positive learning environment for all students through teaching and recognizing positive behaviors in all areas of our school.
Middle schools may use the roster format found in the Standards Manual. All questions concerning eligibility under State Rule 160-5-1-.18 and .19 should be addressed to the Board office in Perry. Note: Ineligible students are prohibited from practicing or dressing out for any competitive extracurricular activity.
After five years at WRHS, Dr. Burch was chosen to become principal at Perry Middle School in 2017. He is married to Stephanie Burch who is a counselor at Perry High School. They are the proud parents of three boys, Brody, Bryson, and Brooks.

Mr. Manning is a 6th grade math teacher. He is currently in his 19th year of education. He earned his BS in Middle Grades Education from Georgia College and State University.
