Feb 12, 2017. Solution. #2. It would not work for you. Verizon is a CDMA carrier, while Simple Mobile is a GSM one. They are not interchangeable and you can't make a phone from one kind work on another. You will either need to return the phone and get a phone that is from a GSM carrier, or change to a CDMA carrier.
