Your fidelity website account will be the same but you will have a separate investment account within that account, just like you can have a checking and savings under the same bank login. You would do your other trading with your brokerage account instead of the 401k.
Fidelity Brokerage and IRA accounts are NOT impacted because they been sending true CUSIP. In past Fidelity 401k was sending all mutual funds income as Dividend which they acknowledge but took few years to correct. I will try to find how to report this to correct Fidelity team.
