Each likely as a God of War of their own. Kratos was Greece's God of War. Ty'r was the God of War in the Norselands. This makes me thing that either Ty'r or Kratos could have fulfilled this mission had they taken that role. The only reason Ty'r couldn't is he was imprisoned. This is an old post of yours but this is a feeling I share and I think it's with how the levels and combat is designed with God of war vs TLOU2 The TLOU2 level design and gameplay made the game feel like a playground where you can experiment with different tactics different approaches etc.
