Obviously it can not hold the water to the king of battery life, the switch pro controller. But that one sucks on windows, since bluetooth starts lagging like crazy sometimes and the third party tools dont work as great as DS4windows. And natively the controller is not supported at all on windows.
In Windows Device Manager (not in Zadig), you can revert drivers quite easily. - Right click on windows start button, start Device Manager. - Look up the controller somewhere with the USB devices. - Right click, "update/change driver". - Then "Browse my computer for drivers" - Then "Let me pick from a list"
For what I understand to have the Dualsense features work in Pc you need to have it wired, wirelless will work and vibrate but not haptics or adaptative triggers. The game list is: Sackboy: A big adventure (Haptic/Triggers) Uncharted: Legacy of thieves collection (Haptic/Triggers)
The dual sense is plug and play on windows, you just need games that support it. The Linux driver support from Sony exists in order to support a future version of Android. Windows support will have to come from elsewhere. Never. There's no native DS3 or DS4 support.
The Ds4 has shorter and tighter thumb stick better for precision.Had my ps5 for a few months and the DS5 sticks feel like a downgrade toller and a little slower to react.Note" I haven't tried either one on a PC hope this helps. I haven't tried any racing games on PS5 yet.But for fps shooters I would recommend DS4.

Ultimate Solution for PS5 Dual Sense Controller on Windows. The title, really. Between DS4Windows and DualSenseX over Bluetooth, and just straight up connecting the controller to my PC via USB, there's simply not one option that just works: For some titles, I need to use DS4Windows, others DualSenseX, and others only really work when I'm ...
everything running a x64 version of windows According to the steam hardware survey only a fraction of a percent of people are running an X86 version of Windows 10 so probably not a big limitation either way but one that Sony does needs to state just in case someone in that fraction of a percent is the type of person to update their controller firmware.
im tired as heck of everyone commenting use ds4windows and it works on steam. honestly ur all memes at this point. stfu we deserve to get native dual sense drivers for windows to use absolutely all of its features. absolutely nothing will get the controller to function at all in FORZA HORIZON stop your rhetoric and realize ds4windows isnt the sollution.
The ds5 feels more premium than an xsx controller tbh. Yea, no. I'm terrified of dropping the dualsense, the xbox one on the other hand..... i can get behind a lot of the points, but in the end, if Sony wants to treat PC users like first class citizens and not just cash cows, they need to start supporting windows natively.
