Tallahassee became the capital of Florida, then the Florida Territory, in 1824. In 2022, the estimated population was 201,731, making it the eighth-most populous city in the state of Florida. It is the principal city of the Tallahassee, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area, which itself had an estimated population of 390,992 as of 2022.

The Big Bend of Florida, United States, is an informally named geographic region of North Florida where the Florida Panhandle transitions to the Florida Peninsula south and east of Tallahassee (the area's principal city). [1] The region is known for its vast woodlands [2] and marshlands and its low population density relative to much of the state.
One of several major mound sites in the Florida Panhandle, the park is located in northern Tallahassee, on the south shore of Lake Jackson. The complex has been managed as a Florida State Park since 1966. On May 6, 1971, the site was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as reference number 71000241.
County Road 762 is Tucker's Grade near Tropical Gulf Acres. Route description. Tucker's Grade begins near Tropical Gulf Acres at an intersection with US 41 (Tamiami Trail) and Green Gulf Boulevard. From US 41, it immediately crosses the Seminole Gulf Railway and heads east.
County Road 78 exists in two sections that were both formerly State Road 78. The western section runs along Pine Island Road from SR 78 / CR 765 / CR 884 in Cape Coral to CR 767 in Pine Island Center, and the eastern section runs along North River Road from SR 31 in North Fort Myers to the Hendry County line in Alva, continuing east into Hendry County.
