Hello, reader I just got GTA V from the Epic Games Store, I am having some trouble finding out how to find the file location for my recently installed Grand Theft Auto V.
I recently downloaded GTA V from the Epic Games Store, and I'm trying to disable shadows to really take the edge off the lag. The problem is, every guide seems to require me editing the settings.xml file, which is nowhere to be found in the game directory. I searched all the GTA V folders, and go...
I've claimed free copy of GTA5 from Epic Store and I'm wondering whether I can somehow just assign it to a new SC account and log in without being forced to redownload whole thing anew from Epic lanucher. I've been playing on account assigned to retail copy of the game that I've bought at PC launch.
I bought GTA V on the epic game store a few months ago. Now that I have a more decent PC, I wanted to install it, but when I dowloaded, I found out it took 107gb of my storage (contrary to what it said on the epic games store, just 90gb). The game only leaves me with just a few gb, so I wanted to ask, is there any way to install only the story ...
If memory serves me correct, the only way you can install the Epic Games version is if you install into a completely clear (empty) folder - so you should be fine in the future.
1.0.1604.0/1, 1.0.1737.0/6, 1.0.1868.0/1. If the Epic version is a later version, then ScripthookV won't run with it. It will be interesting to see if the files are actually different or not, I'm going to install it shortly to check. Expand. Epic is 1868.4. It wont work with steam files.
Now I have to redownload them.) - Delete the same files like the original post. - Move the whole GTA folder to the Rockstars directory. - Go to your steam client and uninstall GTA V - It shouldn't say "Play on steam" now, but install instead. (On Rockstar Games launcher) - Install. It should verify the files and then download the missing ones.
I own 2 copies of the game, one on Steam for online & Epic for modding in single-player. Ever since the new Launcher update arrived ,i couldn't access my games for 2 months & the 2 popups of "rockstar games launcher is failed to initialized" keeps on coming which makes me frustrated.
Unreal Engine 4.26 (Download the EPIC Games Launcher and select EXACTLY version 4.26, which is the version of GTA Trilogy). Obviously, one of the games in the Definitive Trilogy.
Remember that the "GTA San Andreas User Files" folder is in "Documents". If on the other hand, you don't see the intros or letter changes in the menu, maybe you installed the "PC" folder somewhere else. The root folder of the game can be found by right-clicking the shortcut, then "open file location" and you will be in the root folder of your gta.
