Here's a list of things that have been changed: Added a bunch of non-mainline Pokémon games that can transfer Pokémon to mainline games. Made the transfer processes a bit more clear by using proper icons and images that I found in the user manuals of old Pokémon games. Some nicer use of colors that show which platform each games was on.

In FRLG and Emerald, you don't need them to get the National diploma, but they are required in RS, and the only way to get them in Gen 3 is through events or the GCN games.
