The Houston area has a relatively competitive grocery scene because there are actually competitors. Any stores closing isn't great if you enjoy more selection, affordable pricing, and just having options in general. Sorry if Randalls was a time suck in your life, but I honestly hope Randalls stays around to keep options open for everyone.

Randall's at 183/Braker. The pharmacy is closing permanently and all prescriptions are being transferred to Mesa. It doesn't look good for this location after the megamerger. It's closing in February. February 10th, per the scuttlebutt on my Nextdoor page. I like that Starbucks.
