In the region/language menu, there is only Chinese and no other choices whatsoever. The English language pack is at the top of the preferred language list, but it makes no difference. The only choice for Windows display language is Chinese. There is a drop down menu when you click on the display language, but Chinese is the only choice.

I understand from previous posts (and from my new China bought laptop), that the Chinese Windows software operating language cannot be changed in the ways that other languages can - it is locked. Somebody asked if we could simply upgrade it by buying from the US or UK site and if that would change the fundamental system to an English version.
The Chinese language version of Windows is a very specific version of Windows, you would need to download and create a bootable Windows 11 USB and clean install Windows in the English language, there is no other working method to change the language on that device. Report abuse. Update: My colleague just told me that clearing cookies on the MSN feed personalize should do the job. I tested it as well. On the Personalize feed page, click the lock icon on the address bar. Click Cookies. Remove every cookie and reload the page.
