I have found a (very long-winded) way of reversing WordArt as flip horizontal doesn't seem to work. This is how I did it: Select the text. Click on format. click on text effects. select 3D rotation and go down to 3D rotation options. Set the rotation of the x - axis to 180 degrees . Hope this helps.
Set its fill and border to none or white, so you cannot see the outline of the Text box Type your Text into the Textbox Then press Shift and grab the top middle handle on that text box and rotate the textbox 180 degrees - pressing Shift will make the rotation exact . . .

I want to rotate whole page in ms word with all text in it. From this. to like this. I mean from landscape page to portrait page with all text on it. The problem: When i am doing orientation from landscape to portrait in "Page Setup" the page changes to portrait but the text remains horizontal. I want text to become vertical also. How to do it?
You can right-click a text box in Excel or PowerPoint and you are offered Save As Picture. I wonder why that option is missing from Word's contextual menu. OK, so my new work around is to copy the text box to Excel or PowerPoint and then right-click on it to get the Save As Picture option.
One possible reason why it's not working is that the text box may be grouped with other objects. If this is the case, you'll need to ungroup the objects first before you can flip the text box horizontally. To ungroup the objects, select the text box and then go to the Format tab. Click on the Group command and then select Ungroup.
To my surprise, Format shape -->Text box --> Text direction does not have an option to rotate text 180 degrees. Is this option available through other menues or is there a very good reason to withhold this option? It could've been very helpful, especially when asymmetrical shapes with text in them are flipped.
Restart your Mac once everything is updated. When you launch Word go into the Print dialog, open the Copies & Pages dropdown & select Layout. You should find Flip Horizontal in the lower right corner of the dialog window as indicated in Daniel's screen shot.
I wanted to know the possibility within a word file about flipping a letter in a word, without using the insert text box option. I know about inserting a text box and rotating that after. Inserting a text box, would not be aligned to the continuous flow. It would be a cumbersome process. Thank you for reading.
