Free trial through Hulu. Hello good folks, through a Hulu subscription we have signed up for a 7 day free trial of HBO Max. This was successful and we have been able access the service and watch their offerings. However nowhere in sight in Zack Snyders Justice League.
When you add HBO Max, Cinemax, Showtime or Starz to any Hulu tier you will get access to the live feeds for the respective premium services. You do not need Hulu+Live TV for that. After HBO Max launched I used their 7-day free trial to test this out as well. I'm on the $5.99 ad-supported Hulu plan.
Question about free trial with HBOmax. As you may assume, I am wanting to watch the new godzilla vs king kong movie. I have never had either a hulu or hbomax account, so I am allowed to do the free trial. However, I noticed that the hbomax add-on free trial on the sign up page ends in a week, where the hulu package ends next month.
Thanks! Not anymore. They did away with free trials before they started day-and-date releases (namely, Wonder Woman 84). Here's the "fine print" on the Hulu free trial: "HBO content available via Hulu. Additional content only available via HBO Max™ app." Which means Hulu offers HBO the cable channel.
Max is the future of the two dozen various ways to stream HBO content directly from HBO. HBO's streaming has been a mess for a while now with different apps in different countries and also separate services for people that subscribe to the live TV vs. those that just wanted streaming.

Only regular HBO is available inside of Hulu. You will need to use the HBO Max app or website with your Hulu credentials (choose Sign In with Provider and choose Hulu). Even if you subscribe through Hulu, you won't get the 7 day trial of HBO Max, only regular HBO. After the 7 days, you can login to HBO Max without being charged for it. 7. Award.
The free trial applies only to regular HBO content inside of Hulu. You cannot use your Hulu credentials on HBO Max to get the free trial. You will have access to Max after your free trial ends.
