There is a bigger picture focusing on National Regulations being championed by the BPSA in regards to Forest Service, National Park Service and BLM lands addressing eBike access that is coming to a head and hopefully if and when it does it will help to show the regulators in the NE that eBikes are not as bad as the member's of NEMBA are making ...

  3. Western North Carolina hates electric mountain bikes.

    forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/western-north-carolina-hates-electric...

The trails in the national forest service says no. What do you guys do for riding in the Asheville brevard area? It seems so strange to live in such a progressive place and be stuck with such outdated ideas regarding transportation and the impact of electric bicycles on the environment.

    forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/penalty-for-e-mtb-on-usfs-trails.23243

Last September, a USFS ranger came by as I was unloading my ebike in a Forest service trail parking lot. We chatted for a few minutes but nothing was said about the bike. I assume he knew it was an ebike because he watched me install the battery. I rode that day and several times since apparently with no objections.

  6. 20” vs. 24” Trail Tracker: PAS Swap? | Electric Bike Forums

    forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/20-vs-24-trail-tracker-pas-swap.51016

The crank forward flat frames are interesting but since they’re cruiser bikes they’re fairly large frames and based on their sizing suggestions they would likely still not work for her small size, plus they’re really not suitable for the forest service roads and trails near us.

    forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/customer-service.56219

A Tale of Customer Service. A couple months ago, I bought a new Euphree City Robin X+ from Juiced Wheels, my local St Charles Missouri e-bike shop. I had various problems with the bike over the first 300 miles that I put on it on local trails. First was gear shifting not being quite right. Took it to the shop, and they adjusted it to solve the ...

It reminds me of a pre-Lexus Mercedes. Despite the battery weight, there is no flexing like my Apollo. One finger braking with perfect control, even on descents with a heavy bike. It is time to change the oil in the Rohloff per the break in spec, but I expect much less maintenance as the motor is sealed with a 10,000-mile service interval.

Many of us find that great customer service is happening far less often than we'd like. We've all dealt with companies that promise you the world before you buy their product, but offer you nothing in the way of customer after-sales service once you've given them your hard earned money. Which brings me to the reason for this post.

A few weeks later Dan was able to visit us with three bikes for us to test, Delite with Rohloff, the Homage and a Delite Mountain with Fox suspension, for an extended test session over 20+ miles in the New Forest, over a variety of surfaces and swapping bikes we were able to make the right choice for us, two Super Delites, with GX option ...

  11. Add a Throttle to a Yamaha Motor? | Electric Bike Forums

    forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/add-a-throttle-to-a-yamaha-motor.51111

I’m struggling finding an ebike that checks all the boxes for my wife (extra small frame/step through preferable, suitable for rough forest service roads/trails, at least a front suspension, torque sensor PAS and a throttle). The Liv Rove e+ could work but it doesn’t have a throttle.
