Two days ago I was playing normally on my own aternos Minecraft server. No problems. Yesterday when I tried to join the server, it said "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 27, size: 5" I thought it was a small problem that would go away. Today, it still says the same thing.

Like the title says I can't connect to a server of Aternos, there is no problems with other servers but with this it appear "Can't connect to server", I have the right version of minecraft and the server is on, even my friends can enter normally but I can't, I don´t know what to do, please help. If you have a good enough pc I recommend hosting a server, Aternos is good but no custom plugins/mods and it can take up to 15 minutes to start in my experience. (Apologies for a Necro, posting this for anyone that comes looking at previous posts for a hoster.) AdminCraft is a subreddit dedicated for talking about minecraft servers, primarily Java.
Make sure that you installed the same collection of mods on your client as on the server. Also versions of mods and forge version must match. Additionally make sure that you start Minecraft with the correct profile.
Xaero's Minimap is a mod that works on BOTH sides — client-side and server-side as well. Naturally, when the mod is installed on the client side only, it has limited functionality, but still works very good.
Oct 6th 2021. #1. I've been trying to get to my server but 'Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset' always shows up. The world opens as usual, but you spawn in an empty void. After some time, the inventory you had before you logged off will appear, but the terrain will not. Then you lose connection.
According to your server log you're trying to connect to the server while it is not even fully started. Additionally it looks like it's running out of RAM, try to remove some plugins Still i cannot join, i've removed some of my plugins and nothing happens.
