Facebook Gaming vs. Twitch vs. YouTube vs Trovo: As an omni-present streamer that has tried them all, I would suggest Facebook Gaming for new streamers. See my other posts. English or native language: Same as above, see my other posts. I would suggest 100% native.
Hey CG family, working with Facebook to highlight some of the pain points of Facebook and what makes watching gaming content easy/hard in your experience. Things you Love and Hate about Facebook. Any and all bugs, issues you ran into, complexity, things you like twitch has facebook doesnt are all things that help!
Another reason why I think that Facebook Gaming could potentially work is that they've been working on separating FB Gaming entirely and making its own app separate from that of your regular Facebook app. Twitch, Youtube, Mixer are known to be LIVE tv and in general, long form video. Facebook isn't known for this.
FB gaming is completely dead — it's been 2 years without a single fix/update. Every single big streamer moved to other platforms tired of bugs and lack of support. Fbg started really well then they decided to kill the algo for PC/console games in favor of mobile games.

Honestly I could see how one would think this. At least for me this how I look at. FB is a business and a streamer is ultimately wanting to make money. It’s like what do you bring to the table, cause we all know how powerful Facebook is socially & what are streamers / gaming now a days being social and gaining viewers.
Well i can only really tell you why i WOULDNT stream on FB. Mainly because its a social media platform and they are not backing the streaming side 100% as they have to many different things going on so the streaming side of it will suffer because of this imo. Twitch is 100% a live broadcasting site designed for streams. What everyone said below ...
FB gaming does have a built in algorithm and stuff so you can take advantage of that, whereas twitch doesn’t have that and so you can sort of play whatever you want. Facebook sometimes can feel like you get rewarded for playing “the right” games hope this helps and good luck 🖤. 1. Reply. Award.
qonra. •. Considering mixer sent everyone to fb gaming and AoE is a Microsoft game, there might be some big plan going on between Ms and fb where they are trying to make fb gaming the place for aoe streaming, which I guess could actually have a chance if they poach 4-5 more of the big guys like hera or mbl.
