During the phases where the moon spirits are not able to be attacked you can cast ‘undead grasp’ on the spirit and your thrall will continue attacking and damaging the moon spirit for 5 attacks while you cannot. Phases I find this especially helpful on: Eclipse moon, when running behind his ball shield thing.

You're significantly better off by hitting 1t switches and 0t hitting thralls as opposed to worrying about what thrall. Like I see people miss attacks for thralls in the high lvl community and it just completely negates the point.
