I'm shocked. I'm using the Youtube app in Windows 11 and it sounds better than when I play Youtubes in Edge, which is the worst, and Brave which is better than Edge. There's less pops, ticks, studders, etc. It sounds more fluid to me.
35 votes, 57 comments. true. Desktop app isn't a wrapper if you want functions like always start with pc, start minimized, run in the background, and other useful funcctions that chrome progressive web apps don't have (though they have their own strengths).

Win11's official Android app support is pretty bad, since it uses the Amazon app store. You need to do this kinda hacky method of getting Google Play on it for it to be useful at all, but even then some apps just don't show up because the virtual device isn't powerful enough.
I opened task manager, went to services, went down until I found a service called QWAVE or Quality Windows Audio Video Experience, right-clicked and clicked open services, went to the same name, double-clicked it, set the startup type to Automatic, then pressed start on the service status. I rebooted my PC, and until now the app works fine for me.
It would be very interesting as there's no windows app for an online use. Hopefully. There's third-party applications (open source on Github) that just bundle the website in Electron with a few JavaScript plugins and CSS themes. One of them is a downloader! If you have 200mb RAM to spare, this may be a solution.
