I'm compiling a list of design softwares and I need a bit of help. I've never used Photopea, as I'm mostly a Photoshop and Mockofun user. I'm looking for Photopea advanced users insights: 3 PROs and 3 CONS for using Photopea (what you like/don't like) PS: I will credit/quote the contributors if they want Thanks in advance! John
Yes, it is a perfect replacement for Photoshop, but without the Photoshop cost. There's the free version which has ads, or pay a small subscription for an ad free experience. The interface is identical to Photoshop and most of the tools are the same as those in Photoshop. Although there are a few of the Photoshop functions missing in Photopea.
I noticed that Photopea, both the online and the desktop versions, are lagging a lot. I tried many things - I enabled WebGL, I used the incognito mode because of the web browser's extensions, I deleted the browser's cache but it is still the same.

Hi, I'm moving from Photopea to Photoshop as I'm starting to work on larger projects that don't run well in a browser. After installing Photoshop, I'm really missing the wide range of fonts from Photopea. Is there any way I can download the database of fonts that Photopea uses and use them within Photoshop without finding them all individually?

Go to Layer > Raster Mask > Add (Reveal All) Now, instead of the Eraser tool, use the Brush tool and set the color to black.
