    @Jrandomuser 800-531-5000 has been active since the start of DIRECTV and has been made to integrate DIRECTV STREAM customers as well if the customer says they are calling about the product ‘DIRECTV STREAM.’ I know there are dedicated numbers for DIRECTV STREAM so I will simply link the support page next time for stream customers to call.

    The phone number in question (855-744-1728) was called by me and does answer as if it is DirecTV customer service, along with a live representative, but I can't find it anywhere on the internet, especially on Directv.com.

    Ever since AT&T took over DIRECTV, all of their customer service operations (1-800-531-5000) have been moved to some Asian country overseas. I can tell because every time I have called this number, it has been answered by an Asian female with a thick accent.

    We have addressed the hours in the only way can by informing you the correct hours of 8am to Midnight Eastern Time as it always has been and shown on their website (which I even linked). As you are getting a listing of incorrect hours of Central Time, then you would be calling the wrong number. This is a customer-to-customer forum.

    A 24 month service agreement should only occur if there is an upgrade of equipment or you get a special discount for 24 months. Changing the package never affects the agreement. Now that info is for the DirecTV side. Anything about your cell phone would be a question for AT&T. I must agree to a $5 charge to speak with billing. That was false.

    I called the general 800-531-5000 number and spoke to Max about renewing it. He couldn't do anything for me and said he would transfer me to the loyalty customer department. Max transferred me to Sharon who was with ATT and not Directv so she could do nothing for me.

    Does anyone have a phone number to reach a supervisor in customer service? I've been trying to resolve a billing issue for several months. When ATT promises to a have a supervisor call back they call back hours after I'm available. The voice mail they leave is so fast, I can't understand the phone number.

    My efforts in trying to send this back have not worked and Directv can't understand that. I refuse to pay them any more money. They won't listen to me and take my feelings and concerns into consideration and are bullying me into paying. And apparently being a loyal customer from 2008 until now isn't good enough for them.
