    His one instructor said that pays $700/hour. FYI...my brother flew those guys for a couple of years. He said the guys he worked with were salary and started at roughly 125K. An experienced guy could go as high as 200K. I'm going to guess he meant 700/day.... Make more in a week than usually do in a month.

    So he went back to the company he retired from, kinda an advisory role, with hourly pay instead of salary. He's been there since about '82 and helped the company gets onto its feet. They don't mind is hiatus and welcome him back each year.

    I offered to work 20-25 hours/week if he could use me. He thought about it and decided half of my time was better than none. He switched me to hourly without benefits at a higher effective hourly rate, which worked out well for both of us. The key point is I had a plan and was polite but firm about it. School was more important to me than that job.
