I am trying to add my Yahoo email account to the Windows 10 mail app. I go into 'Manage Accounts' and click the 'Add Account' option. I receive the pop up window to add account. I select 'Yahoo!'. The 'Connecting to a service' window opens - showing the Yahoo! sign in window. I enter my user name and click NEXT.
The problem is with Yahoo! or the Mail app. Lots of people are experiencing it, and lots have sent feedback, including myself. Things that do not resolve the issue (tried by many): Reset Mail app. Repair Mail app. Remove / re-install Mail app. Remove / re-install Yahoo! email account. Re-install Windows OS

Hi, You may use the yahoo mail by adding the yahoo account to the Windows Mail App, With the Mail app, you can have all your email—from Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo!, and other accounts—in one single app. So there's no need to go to different websites or apps for your email.
Right click on empty space of the desktop and hover the mouse pointer over at New from the context menu. Select Shortcut and type https://mail.yahoo.com web address in the address bar. In reply to cynthiaperry's post on July 24, 2016. Removing the mail server ie *** Email address is removed for privacy *** or whoever you're using and then re-adding the address in the win 10 mail app is suppose to do the job. works with AOL, but not Yahoo for some reason.

Hello, i 've download the YAHOO MAIL APP on my laptop (windows 10) and i'm facing a log in problem. i open the app, enter my mail address and then appears a notification on my phone asking me if it me. I push the OK button and then a message appears on my laptop's screen saying "unable to log in".
