It appears Netflix has updated its app on the Microsoft Store and it's no longer a Windows application but a PWA (Progressive Web App). I have the old version installed, but when I updated it just now, it became a PWA. Uninstall it and try to install the old version using this link and see if it helps.

Open the Windows Store App. Search for Flixster. Install the App Flixster. Wait for the installation to finish. Then search for Netflix. Install Netflix.
