Jul 16, 2021. #1. I have problems with my AirPods Max. After I've been using them for like 45-60 min the sounds starts to crack and give off static sounds when I'm looking at videos. It's most appereant with voices, its like every sentence cuts off with a SSST, almost like it cracks ir leaks.
But the AirPods Max sound better in wired mode with lossless Apple Music than those 2 budget headphones IMHO despite the Airpod Max’s workaround ADC > DAC converters . It is a testament to the quality of those Apple converters and the airpod max’s themselves, I feel it has to also be said.
The Airpods Max solves this problem because you can boost the volume with the digital crown! Again, no way to use the microphone on the APM via this way. You’ll have to use the microphone on the PS5 controller itself. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Sep 22, 2021. #1. Would love something more interesting than my Plantronics one ear bluetooth headset, but it would have to have really clear for voice. The mic would have to be great too. Had anyone used it as a headset for work, ie. Zooms and Teams etc, or maybe some streamers have used it enough to have an opinion on it as a workhorse.

I got my Airpods Max silver today, and found out that it is not that comfortable wearing both the glasses and Max, since the legs of the glasses are pressed between the ears and the ear covers.

The Airpods Max does not have a power button and the B&O H95’s does.. The B&O H95’s are foldable whereas the Airpods Max are not. This may or may not be an issue for you but I like the ability to collapse the B&O H95’s…. Both have replaceable ear pads that are held on by magnets. Airpods Max = 9.

In addition, Apple said the AirPods Max are gaining support for Personalized Spatial Audio with the upcoming iOS 18 software update.
The Max's require a cable with an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC). Also it must convert the analog signal to AAC for the AirPods. Cables that come with the iPhone (or 3ed party) are just the opposite and have a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC). This built in electronics are actually a large part of the high price.
