January 31, 2000: Alaska Airlines Flight #261. Aircraft: N963AS (M83). Route: PVR-SFO. 83 Passengers, 5 Crew Members. The flight crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Los Angeles. There were problems with control of the aircraft - the horizontal stabilizer had jammed. September11. New York, USA.
