Seniors were welcomed back Wednesday, Nov. 4, to the Shelton Senior Center as it began its phase one reopening. Shauna Laucella / Contributed photo SHELTON — The Shelton Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Serving over 6,000 people each month, the Center offers a wide range of social, educational, health, financial and recreation programs for Shelton residents 55 years of age or older. The facility includes meeting rooms, lounges, a poolroom and a snack bar.
The Shelton Senior Center offers classes, workshops and support to area seniors. The center is located at 81 Wheeler Street. Information: 203-924-9324. Some classes are for members only; others are for members and non-members alike.
