Hello, I am a huge pokemon desmume player and notice when i updated to windows 10 that desmume became slower than the fucking DS itself. The games still run, but they are seriously, seriously slow. Any ideas on what to update graphics or whatever to speed the games up to normal?
Guys just a heads up using melonds is not the best especially if you don’t have a high end computer desmume works way better with most ds games and cheats while melon ds works better for more recent (even tho theystopped making them) ds games like Pokémon and Mario kart and all that work way better on desmume because of having more graphic and just better option selection in general and ...
Using DeSmuME v0.9.9. The odd thing was, it worked fine with 0.9.8, but due to issues I was having involving save paths and whatnot, I ended up deleting it entirely. I then redownloaded both 0.9.8 AND 0.9.9 and neither of them worked with the controller. I've tried different USB ports as well. Any help would be appreciated.

First apparently desmume doesn't like not being in full screen when you have any filters applied (magnification filters that make the video clearer) Also the basic screen gap settings, also found in the view tab can be a bit...jarring. Also never try to adjust window size while screen gap is set to "editable via border dragging"

Hi Everyone I need help. I downloaded desmume on my Mac and downloaded Pokemon black and white 2. the game loads up but I can only hear the sound effects the screen is black for both games. anyone know a fix? many thanks
Back to DeSmuMe. Go to 'File', find 'Import Backup Memory' and select the edited PKHEX file. The game should load up from the title screen, and have the changes you edited in. Make sure you're using the latest version of DeSmuMe, as I had problems in the past but when I got a newer version it was easy.
