The Hoenn Starters are Mudkip, Torchic and Treecko. Contrary to popular belief, this is probably the only region aside from Kanto where all three choices are good. The issue is that Torchic and Mudkip might need to evolve once to beat certain gyms if you intend to solo the region with your starter (I personally do NOT recommend you do this.

It is made travelable after all-eight ...
WELCOME TO THE SINNOH ACCESS QUEST GUIDE! The quest will start once you speak to the NPC Paul in Lilycove City (Hoenn). You need to have 6 pokemon in your team that are at the very least level 80 or above. This can be acheived by training them in Mount Silver or in Cerulean Cave as the NPC says.
Starter Pokémon. Starter Pokémon are selectable Pokémon that players will start off with as their initial Pokémon when embarking on a region. Each starter-Pokémon subset comprises a traditional tri-elemental paradigm: one Grass -type option, one Fire -type option, and one Water -type option. The only extension is Kanto 's subset wherein ...
