Probably because they set up their paypal account through Ebay which seems to be the only way you can "link" your paypal account. I will say, however, that I still love you very much PayPal. You are a great service and I love to use you. I just can't believe it's harder to link my account to ebay than it is to **bleep** Etsy. Disgraceful.

Go to your eBay account settings to change PayPal email address and if you create sale listings on eBay, update the paypal email address on the listing form so the payments will go to the correct PayPal email address.
