After All My Children went off the air I was devastated, I watched all 3 ABC soaps practically since birth! (1982) The talk shows that tried to replace AMC & OLTL haven't even lasted long like the longevity of these beloved soaps.
AMC- Alex Devane was a respectable doctor in Pine Valley with a sisterly relationship to her twin Anna. GH basically whitewashed her origin and turned her into a cartoonish villain then unceremoniously killed her off. What OLTL, AMC, or PC storyline did GH ruin for you?
The worst death I recall on AMC was Tom and Brooke's daughter, that was so shocking and sad!
Even though life goes on I admit that I still miss my daily dose of AMC. It was my favorite show and while I enjoy other soaps, All My Children was special IMO. Do you still miss Pine Valley and its cast of characters?
