Hi , Skies912. Open the Microsoft store, click library and then get updates. Wait for it to finish making all the appx updates from the store, then visit the link below and download the alexa app in the offline version and install it.
I found issues just today with the Alexa app on my Windows 11 PC. Every time I minimised the window while working, a minute or so later it popped up again. It was driving me crazy, so I just closed it completely, but the same thing happened. It kept popping up. In the end, finding it very tiresome, I uninstalled it.
This app has been removed in March 2023. The link you found online is cached link. Alexa app on Windows computer requires the support of Cortana, as Microsoft is going to discontinue Cortana, I believe that is what led to the decision of discontinuing the Alexa app. Sorry.. I was using the Amazon Alexa app on my PC for over a year without any issues. I was first using it on windows 10 and then I 'upgraded' (joke!!) to windows 11 and it still worked fine for months.
