They pay more. Keep in mind that it should only be used during Lyft or Uber non surge imo. I'm signed up with all delivery apps but Caviar and Postmates are the ones I alternate when in DTLA and there's no surge. You'll typical average $9 + tips per order on Caviar. I've found I can get in 2 or 3 orders an hour between Caviar and Postmates
So I have been driving for Postmates for a few weeks. Some thoughts on my experience and would appreciate any feedback from other drivers. I have a 5 rating through 25 deliveries and take every request. Have stayed in tempe and "blitz" areas (wish they would stop this) and still don't get requests even being on schedule.
As a Postmates driver I did several Apple deliveries up to 4 deliveries per pickup. I quit taking them because I never received a single tip and getting into an Apple Store in a busy mall was a pain. Also as a Postmates driver I found the pay so low I refused everything except for LiquorBarn where tips were sometimes very good for awhile.

Postmates tips are less than 10% of the orders for me. Door Dash is 100%. The customers on Postmates want something from the 7/11, Taco Bell or Wendys. Postmates will have you drive 10 miles to pick up an order and another 10 miles to deliver it if you let them. Any you will make $4 on the order with no tip.
I know that Nevada requires a lot more things for doing rideshare than California (like TCP stickers and Nevada business license, Nevada driver's license and plates) and will not simply let you use your California Uber or Lyft account in Nevada
I have the uber driver app open when I am out to make sure I don't miss anything. Is there another app I need to run? It's the only thing I have open on my phone. Trying to conserve data since I have a 4G phone and for the first time, I actually use my 2GB of data. I have wifi at home so this is the only thing I now use my data for.
Doordash, GrubHub, and Postmates are available in your city. You'd be better off signing up to do food delivery with one if not all three of those apps instead of getting the run around with UberEats which is the most inferior option to begin with in my opinion.
Yeah, but he/she had a legitimate beef and given her lack of knowledge about how Eats delivery operates, her request that you handoff the order to another driver wasn't outrageous. Every once in a great while I get some impatient, bad-tipping asswipe who starts pestering about how long it will take even though his order isn't running late at all.
Tip baiting is allowed by Uber eats. That's because they get their money up front. They charge customers high rates and hint that customers don't have to tip if not happy with delivery. So some customers take full advantage and make up excuses not to tip you and make up bogus complaint. Like food was tampered with or driver was rude .
