Rubén Marinelarena Gallego ( / ˈruːbən ɡaɪˈɛɡoʊ / ROO-bən gy-EH-goh; born November 20, 1979) is an American politician and former U.S. Marine serving as the U.S. representative for Arizona's 3rd congressional district. Gallego served and deployed as a USMCR Corporal in the US invasion of Iraq.

[1] Author of a long list of works, he has studied the contemporary history of Spain, the Latin-American caudillismos and populisms, European fascisms, and 20th-century Germany. [3]
