Dagupan Bus Company. EDSA cor. New York St., Cubao, Quezon City. Dagupan Bus Co., Inc., is a provincial bus company based in Dagupan, Pangasinan. This company was a sister company of Saulog Transit up until the company's management was transferred to JAC Liner Inc., and Genesis Transport (as North Genesis) following Dagupan Bus' sellout in 2015.
In 2015, JAC Liner took over the Dagupan Bus Company Inc. and the provincial operations of Fermina Express, which had a total of 300 buses combined. [4] The company also debuted a new city bus subsidiary, Metro Manila Bus Co., with routes from Baclaran to Fairview via EDSA and Quezon Avenue.
Fermina Express started in 1996 with services within Metro Manila that plies over EDSA corridor, and has a connecting service from Cubao and Pasay to the cities of Dagupan and San Carlos in Pangasinan and Cuyapo in Nueva Ecija via Paniqui, Tarlac. The bus line uses NLEX for northbound trips with a stopover at Mabalacat Bus Terminal (Dau).
The company started operation in 1946 with orange yellow, silver, and dark green bus paint designs. In 1974, Saulog Transit Inc. acquired the franchise of Villarey Transit, which it used to operate its sister company, Dagupan Bus Company initially with only six Mitsubishi Fuso buses as part of its expansion in Northern Luzon .
