I use Diamond Back Classics. They start with a proper radial and vulcanize the whitewall to it. I had a set of their dual red/shite stripe tires on my '65 Thunderbird for nineteen years without incident. Just replaced them, put new wide whites on my E-Code '57, and red stripes on my '68 Cougar. All Diamond Back.

We have had a 2002 when they came out back then with a few issues of overheating and transmission and sold it soon after and just last year bought a 2003 like a dummy for my wife as she loved the looks of the car which I agree is a sharp looking car so why has Ford screwed this car up mechanically ...

The American Racing rep stated that the only wheel they had that would fit my car was a VN 515 in 17". Not the style I was looking for and over $300 per wheel. Cragar website show that the SS in a 17" wheel would fit a 65 or 66. So I am back to square one.
