Did it a couple more times. Tried with USB (FAT32 , 4 GB storage abd everything named and downloaded corectly) the ps4 got it, downloaded the update, applied it and after restart - nothing. Back at the beggining, checked the HDD and it just doesnt want to update. Says update complete and when it restarts it doesnt want to boot.
Looks like your PS4 is looking for the initialisation software. There are two options for downloading firmware from the PlayStation support website. One is a firmware update and the other is the full firmware package, both are called PS4UPDATE.PUP. You need the full firmware file which is a much larger file than the update, around 2GB I think.
