Dumbo is a 1941 American animated fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The film is based upon the storyline written by Helen Aberson and Harold Pearl, and illustrated by Helen Durney for the prototype of a novelty toy ("Roll-a-Book").

Plot. In a small wooden cabin, five small electric appliances – Toaster, Radio, a desk lamp named "Lampy", an electric blanket named "Blanky" and a vacuum cleaner named "Kirby" – await the return of a young boy named Rob (whom they refer to as "the Master") who used to vacation at the cabin with his family, but the family has not come by in many years.

The purpose of Dumbo missions was to rescue downed American aviators as well as seamen in distress.
