Yes, the Comcast/Xfinity email program needs a complete overhaul and especially when so many of us that use mainstream third party email programs (Apple Mail, etc) and it fails over and over again to load. in the 1980/1990's when i got my first internet access from comcast i set up comcast.net email accounts for me my wife and 2 kids. I have deleted my kids accounts maybe 20 years ago, but my wife's account and my account are still active. We are divorced now but she was still using her comcast.net up until a few days ago.

I chose prompt #3 from Comcast Security Assurance (1-888-565-4328); prompt #3 is for non-Comcast account holders. She walked me through a process to issue a numerical code to reset password. This fixed the problem & all of my husband’s emails returned.
