The Wiki states that giant frogs drop cosmic runes, but it appears that the low level frogs only drop bones.

Crafting the cosmic runes is the best way. Go ahead and get 72 slayer if you're going for mm2 you need 69 already. Camp wyverns for the ess and you'll also have tons of orbs and b staves along with tons of other useful supplies too. But disregard the staves for a minute.

Craft them then tp either to castle wars/ferox enclave depending on run energy (can get about 2-3 runs before enclave) then repeat. Replace ardy cape with quest cape and dueling with darkens medallion. Once you get double cosmics you can average a few k per hour.

I bring smoke/astral/cosmic runes in a rune pouch, and water runes in my inventory. That'll let me cast magic imbue and npc contact. Bring a binding necklace, they typically last me 2 games. Make combo runes the regular way (use water runes > altar) after casting magic imbue. Magic imbue will last long enough for all the rune essence.
After dying with my divine rune pouch I bought back a rune pouch to find all my runes in the pouch. But now my cosmic runes are permanently glitched in the pouch, and I can't turn the pouch into a divine pouch. I've already tried destroying the pouch and buying a new one. Help:(
