One POF 308 has had somewhere near 6 k rounds through it, mostly surpressed and it's been faultless. It's built like a stone shithouse, is easy to maintain and consistently under 1moa. It also weighs like a small fridge so it's great for paper punching from the bench.
Re: POF Rifle trigger problems I can't say enough great things about Geissele triggers. I have put two DMR's on my AR's and just got a third that I am installing this week. I am sure the POF's are great as most people say so go out and play with it and give it a good working out and then make a decision.
POF had leased servers from Meetme. The lease has been fulfilled and POF has setup their own version of LIVE. There has been no talk of it being removed, and right now, they are workong on getting other issues that arose from the migration.
I tried but POF will reject all non-carrier number for verification which means if your number is a googlevoice, textnow number etc. it will just not accept it. It needs a carrier provided phone number for verification. Even a burner phone number will do.
POF had my rifle less than 24hrs and already had it on the way back to me. They spec’d out the chamber, cleaned the “salt” like substance that is leftover from heat treating process and replaced the entire BGC. They also put 100rds of 4-5 different kinds of ammo through it to test its function.
Or maybe POF just balances better imo idk. Another con is cost, piston guns always cost more, but they are worth it imo. Proprietary parts can be a drag, but with POFs gas piston system it is sooo stupid simple, and robust I would have a hard time imagining a part actually breaking in the piston system.

Re: POF P308 ACCURACY Mine is a solid .6-.7 and some times .4-.5" gun with 155 Bergers over Varget. It took me a good bit of shooting to get consistent with the gun.
POF has a definite quantity vs quality issue, but my best friend met her now-husband on it, and I met a guy on it recently who I've been seeing for about a month now and it's been going well so far. Before that I had one other long term relationship from POF and I've had lots of dates that weren't "the one," but they were perfectly nice people.
