SocialCatfish.com possible scam. I wanted to investigate whether someone from a dating app was a real person. I uploaded an image and it went through an elaborate 'search' process. After this the page had a 'oh this is some messed up stuff are you sure you want to continue' button and i clicked it. Apparently there are 34 possible results.

Beenverified is, like all the other search reports services, inaccurate and expensive. Their prices are expensive, and deliberately confusing. I searched myself and most of my report was wrong. I searched other people to find their social media accounts, and 3 reports contained zero accounts, when the site said they would provide that info.

I think it's legit, it often gets mentioned amongst the 'best background check tools'. I've tried a few from this list (haven't gotten around to truthfinder yet but will definitely try it). Beenverified is good and provides really accurate reports. I imagine truthfinder is the same. edit: I did end up trying Truthfinder.
I have a friend who I'm sure is now getting scammed by a catfish into an investment scam. He's in total denial but I'm so curious to see who it really is, maybe he'll finally see. Yes it's absolutely a scam, the company doesn't exist and just has a website/MT5 access but is all fake. You might as well be dumping money directly into the scammer's bank account. Yes, this is a common "mistaken identity" contact as a prelude to a common crypto scam.
