    Pros - Hamilton is known for its strong academics across a wide range. For a small Liberal Arts college it is strong in Math and Sciences, Economics and English/Writing, among others. It has an open curriculum and allows students the freedom to design some of their own majors/concentrations.

    Hamilton does try to attract diversity and sponsors the posse foundation- a scholarship program to attract and support inner-city kids.     I really appreciate all the thoughtful input I have gotten on CC so far. My d23 is about to pull trigger on ED2 to Hamilton. Would love to hear any positives or negatives from any parents or students who attend/attended. He then applied to three other colleges but ultimately decided on Hamilton. He went to London with approximately 40 other “Jans” and had a wonderful experience.
