    Right-click on the Pictures folder, in the File Explorer, and select Properties. Under the Security tab, click on HomeUsers under Group or Username. Choose Full Control under Permissions for System. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for Administrators under Group or Username. Restart your PC and try importing the photos again.

    Click start, and type “This PC” and open it up. Open your C drive, then look for “users” - once that is open, look for you user account, and open that. Within there, you should see a “pictures” folder. You can right click, and “send to” shortcut to desktop, and just store all your pictures there. Hope this helps!
