Season is a definition of period of 3 Months (since we are weekly episodes we have 12 episodes per season usually). So yes 86 has 2 seasons. Not only 2 seasons, it was not even an continuos aired anime to create this confusion. It was aired in Spring and Fall Seasons of 2021.
On October 4, 2012, an anime adaptation of Junya Inoue’s Btooom! aired in Japan, and finished its 12 episode season on December 20th of that same year. Despite having adapted nearly every chapter of the manga that was released at the time, it was still ongoing.
Man if you thought Gamers' anime ending was a cliffhanger, you should probably be happy that the anime actually diverged from the novels a little bit to lessen the sourcebaiting. Cause, uh, if it'd stayed true, it would've been wild. As for it not getting a season 2, that's just an unfortunate reality for many, many, many manga and light novel ...
Hajime no Ippo is never getting a season 4, is it? Discussion. It’s been 10 years since season 3 and the manga has about 800 chapters from where it left off so it obviously isn’t because of lack of source material. I decided to read the manga since it looks like a sequel is never gonna happen and man I’m telling you, if ufotable adapted ...
Actually they do. And after Exam arc coming the peak arc. highest rated anime in MAL is more then enough signs that this anime will get a season 2, manga sales have doubled, their is enough source material for 24 episodes. But yeah a 4th season isn't happening. How it is bad it’s it’s 5 stars out of the 95% of people that’s watched it. Nope your wrong they confirmed season 4 in 2020 said to come out early to mid 2023. It's early to mid 2023 already with no poster, trailer or anything.
There’s pretty much a chart like this in any wiki for an anime. It’s a trick I picked up from always reading the manga of an anime I’ve just finished. For example, Here’s the one for jjk. Just go to the wiki and search story arcs, and you’re set.
So they can't do a thing. Author is lazy. Ultimately, unless you're a really big manga (or a run of the mill isekai LN), chances are you aren't going to get an S2 anymore these days, considering that anime by now is mostly just used to advertise the manga and nothing else. Drifters is not one of these big manga.
Nothing confirmed and there isn't enough material for a full season. It was said the anime didn't provide much of a bump in manga sales, and the first blurays didn't really sell much either (less than 700 copies lol). No numbers for streaming, but so far it's commercially unlikely there will be a second season.
