Since NASCAR and beer are associated with each other a lot, I am wondering if there are any drivers who are teetotalers. For whatever reason. It would be interesting if there are any of them that have completed rejected the drinking culture.
I fully understand where you're coming from, however I feel the need to add that NASCAR has even made the "asphalt modifieds", my favorite division, a "generic" class.....similarly bodied race cars, based on 1980s Chevy Cavaliers (they were quite aerodynamic), and steel tube chassis sourced from 2-3 major race shops.
There are tons of Nascar fans in Oklahoma. I am definitely not one of them, but you will find people wearing shirts, bumper stickers ect. It was envisioned years ago, like around the mid 90s. I will say, that although I don't go to dirt races often, mainly because I can't stand being around fat, drunken, cigarette smoking rednecks, which is about 90% of the people there, sprint cars going sideways around a dirt track is 100 times better watch than NASCAR. I seriously don't know how people even watch NASCAR.
