MS stopped including Picture Manager in Office 2013. But is still a way to get it for free. Picture Manager has been included in a couple of free downloads that you can get. Then you do a "customize" installation and select to install only Picture Manager.
Microsoft told me to download version 2010 of Share Point to get an newer version of Picture Manager. This did not work Computer was looking for version 2010 of Office. Microsoft Office Picture manager tool has been removed from Office 2013 suite onwards it’s not available any more with Office 2016 suite. Please provide the feedback about the same from any of the office application, go to file and select feedback. Hope the information helps.
Windows Picture Manager - takes far too long to load. I have Terabytes worth of images and need quick access to find images quickly and don't have time to wait for a program to reload every time I access it. try saving douplicate pictures as *.png. right click the .png file and a dropdown list will have Print listed. click print and a style of the Old photo wizard window will open. that execute file [print pictures is hiding in [c:\ windows\system32\print pictures.exe.
Beginning last week when I download a document it automatically go to Microsoft Office Picture Manager as the default program to open it.
