Battle.net. Launch the Battle.net app and log in to your account. Select All Games. Find and select Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Select the Install button to download and install the game. Well… the “All Games” button no longer exist on the Battle.Net App – it was replaced with “Games” some time ago.

Click on the star for Call of Duty to add Call of Duty to your Favourites. Then click on “Call of Duty” That should give you a blue Install button. Work through the menus… on the 2nd panel, there should be a place to add MW II to the download: Activision has changed the way players will access their games… you can read about it here:
I am encountering the exact same problem. I download the game and played for a bit. Then if I close out the game and return the games are all locked and says to buy MW3.
On the Blizzard Application, under the MW tab, go to Options > Show in Explorer. Move the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare folder out to the desktop or another location. Fully close the Blizzard Application. Relaunching it should say “Install” start the installation, and give it about a minute, then move the folder back into the install location.
Go to the Game Installation Location. Move the ModernWarefare.exe and Modern Warfare Launcher.exe to the Desktop or delete the files. Open the Blizzard Desktop Application. The game should start the download for the update. If there are any issues with updating, run a Scan and Repair. The MW and MW Launcher will be recreated after the update.
