The Empire Building, also known as the Yuster Building, is a historic building in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017. [1] [2] The eight-story Empire Building has Gothic-inspired commercial architecture. Its main tenant is also the building owner, Continental Real Estate.
The Atlas Building underwent renovation from 1979 to 1982 under the direction of architect David C. Hughes, who restored storefronts using precast colored concrete. [8] [9] In 2011, the building was purchased by real estate developer Michael Schiff and in 2014 converted to apartments in a $20 million renovation.
