    After changing my password, I can receive emails but I can't send email through smtp.comcast.net. I'm on a Mac using Mail.app and yes, I did updated the password in Mail.app for both receiving (which again, works) and for sending.

    @L-2 your password resets are due to you sending spam. The spam report function to our missed-spam mailbox is strictly for emails that landed in your inbox that were not filtered as spam that are following a new email type/trend that is essentially never seen before.

    No, I went into my Xfinity app, where it told me the same thing. I changed my password in the app. I just looked through my email and still have about 7 emails from Xfinity in there. None of them have a red Xf anywhere on them. In re-reading the email about changing my password I realized there was a phone number to call if I had problems.

    If you have xFi Pods and are still experiencing any connection issues, we ask that you please restart the Pods by unplugging them and plugging them back in. Additionally, you can try restarting them in the Xfinity App or in My Account. Since this is not related to the modem, restarting the modem is unnecessary to resolve this.
