There was a goofy movie called Ember with an underground city that forgot why they were there (similar to this series) and didn't want to go out. The only thing keeping the silo people in is the dangerouse atmosphere outside (plus some of their developed rules/laws) Posted: 5/10/2023 4:08:37 PM EDT. [#18]

In the show it has her running around like a crackhead attempting a 30 minute fix, doesn't showcase her abilities to diagnose and repair at all. I do think the visuals were pretty good, although it was weird they didn't have colored overalls for work.

Thanks for posting! My uncle worked on the MM program back in the early 60's building MM control facilities in ND, Montana or WY. Ended his career working at the old Boeing Aerospace HQ building 18-26 at the Kent Space Center. Back when Boeing was led by alcoholic white guys - and knew WTF they were doing.

Some hams are dishonest and lie to get the meaningless awards. The uptight hams get bent out of shape because the dishonest hams suddenly have a bigger dick. The uptight hams compile all their nerd knowledge and create LOTW - a logging/check system that uses more authentication keys than a nuclear missile silo to regain their biggest dick status.

Suggestion - If you tour PIMA Air museum in TUCSON, take the exterior tram tour first thing in the morning while it is relatively "cool". Then enjoy the incredible interior exhibits in their air conditioned splendor. The Titian II Silo & Complex is very interesting too. Located about 30 minutes from PIMA Air Museum.

I am new to this site, but can say that the Tannerite composition is no great mystery. It is merely powdered AN plus pyro grade aluminum mixed in a 95/5 weight ratio. Somewhat greater sensitivity with increased aluminum, maybe upwards of 10%. Since the cost of Al is somewhat prohibitive, the 5% mix is suggested.

It allows the support hand to rest on the gun and not on the barricade. This can result in a much more stable shooting platform when shooting around barricades. That way you remain behind cover and not over it. It can also improve accuracy on distance shots. There is a school of thought that by using one of these, the rifle can grab a hold of ...
